Tuesday, March 4, 1997 at 7:00 p.m.: This is the County Board hearing on the proposed FY 1998 County Manager and School Board expenditure budgets and on the Annual Consolidated Plan. The hearing will be held at Kenmore Middle School, 200 South Carlin Springs Road.
Interested parties may comment on non-financial issues in the draft Consolidated Plan, e.g., the proposed Citizen Participation Plan, fair housing issues, etc., at these two separate hearings:
Thursday, March 20, 1997 at 7:30 p.m.: The Housing Commission and the Community Development Citizens Advisory Committee (CDCAC) are jointly sponsoring this hearing to be held in Conference Room C, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard.
Saturday, April 12, 1997 at 9:00 a.m.: This is the County Board's final public hearing on the Consolidated Annual Plan before it considers adoption of the plan and its proposed Citizen Participation Plan. The hearing will be held in the County Board Room, 3rd Floor, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard.

The plan is scheduled to be considered for approval by the Arlington County Board on April 12, 1997. The plan is expected to be submitted to HUD on or before May 15, 1997.
