PLAYGROUND AT 13th AND N. VERMONT PARK
The Association has invited Howard Hudgins, Acting Chief,
Division of Parks and Facilities, and staff, to return to our
next Membership Meeting to make a presentation and elicit
additional comments concerning the County's proposal to
remove and not replace the play ground equipment at North
13th and Vermont Street. The Executive Committee encourages
members and immediate neighbors, who will be most heavily
impacted by whatever is done to attend this meeting and express
your views. The Association plans to adopt a resolution and to
vote on this matter at our Wednesday, April 30, 1997,
Membership Meeting, at the Arlington Hilton Hotel, 2nd
Floor Conference Rooms, above the Ballston Metro Station.
This item is scheduled for presentation from 8:00 to 8:30
p.m.
